I worked as the lead qualitative analyst on the Model City London Final Evaluation, an 18-month assessment of the success and effectiveness of a grass-roots sports programme delivered by the Mayor of London, together with Laureus Sport for Good and Nike. The programme was an innovative place-based initiative aimed at improving social integration through sport by empowering local young people to drive the change they want to see in their community. Delivered in three areas of London: Barking, Haringey, and Hounslow, I worked with local people and organisations to understand and measure the impact of MCL over the last 5 years.
I am a content editor for Harry CJ Wix, a new design destination located at 69 Thoroughfare, Woodbridge, Suffolk, founded by Carolyn Larkin and inspired by original owner and Woodbridge-born tailor Harry CJ Wix. The store prides itself on championing thoughtful and meaningful design, that has at its heart a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and the makers that are behind its beautiful wares. My role is to ensure that all marketing materials and external communications are compelling, clear, and consistent with the store’s unique tone of voice that resonates with the strong sense of community that underpins its location.
In 2024, I worked as a senior copyeditor on the website refresh for Boutique Tours, in collaboration with the brilliant Cliffe Copy Ltd. Based in Paris, Boutique Tours is a family-owned and run business that looks to provide personal, thoughtful and unforgettable trips, all whilst placing an onus on slow travel. The copy had to embody a fun and playful tone that brought to life the French capital’s certain “je ne sais quoi”, making it accessible and attractive to a Western Anglophone audience.
